Arbitration and Mediation are two types of alternative dispute resolution that assists parties in resolving disputes outside of a courtroom. In arbitration, cases are decided by a neutral third party and can be decided faster and more economically than through litigation. Using mediation, a neutral third parties works between the parties to assist in finding a resolution agreed to by both parties, also resulting in cost and time savings for all involved.
